The Team

Our Engineering department support all our functions with their savvy wit and hardworking application of their engineering knowledge. They have a good sense of humour, don’t suffer fools gladly and are extremely passionate about getting things working quickly again.

Whether it be fixing a light or attending a major breakdown on a piece of machinery, they are extremely tenacious to ensure the end result is achieved and work collaboratively with Production and other departments on planned and preventative maintenance issues.

They also work collaboratively on complex, long term engineering projects such as the installation of new machinery, from design, quote stage through to completion and running.

They ensure our machines are maintained to maximise efficiencies on the line to create an efficient business for our mission. They are truly honourable people with a passion for the Trojan way of life.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, we are looking for an experience Engineering Supervisor who is as comfortable getting their hands dirty with the rest of the team as they are with the people management side of the role. You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic individual who has the ability and drive to develop into an Engineering Manager within the next 2-3 years.

You will be a truly multi-skilled engineer with demonstrable experience in an FMCG environment. Your career history will show your drive for self-development and improvement.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a level of resilience is required for this position as it is a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities. Flexibility is also key, as a seasonal business the production flexes to meet demand and as such the Engineering team must also be flexible. Some weekend working will be required.

In return you will be supported by the Head of Engineering with a plan to develop into a fully fledged Engineering Manager within 2-3 years.

Hours of work

Flexible to cover 06:00 - 22:00 as required

Days / shift details

Monday to Friday with some weekend cover required
