When I came into the Family Business 8 years ago, I knew I had a tremendous amount to live up to. Troy Foods has taught me so much. This year has presented some of the most difficult challenges to date. The dramatic spread of COVID-19 has disrupted lives, livelihoods, communities and businesses worldwide, and we at Troy are no exception. It has been a tough year for all of us as we navigate a new normal amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It looks as if we are heading into a long, problematic winter. Covid restrictions changing weekly, cases rising with clusters inevitably going to be found.
We have shaped ourselves as a business in the strongest possible manor to challenge this winter like any other. PPE investment has been at the forefront of our minds & making sure everybody is safe at work. I want people to be able to feel safe and welcome to come into work when they are able to.
In recent years there has been a tremendous amount of work underway for future projects, including new customers and products, and the opening of our new Prepared Veg site at Lofthouse.
I would like to thank everyone supporting and working at Troy for their dedication and hard work.
