The Team

The Production Team are the biggest team on site. They are the epicentre to our operations. They are a hard-working and friendly team. They have a knack for ensuring products are made on time, put into the right fast lane for production processing and packing products to our customers specification.

The Role

As a Production Supervisor (Mixing Area) you will control flow of work in the mixing area to meet demands of the business working from a production plan on an hourly/daily basis. The role will required the successful candidate to monitor, control and minimise waste. Ensure all paperwork accurate in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

You will be responsible the day-to-day management of people – training, motivating and developing the team. In addition to this you will liaise with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workers.

You will be required to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety legislation and guidelines as well as company policy are strictly adhered to and all areas comply with hygienic audits.

You will work in production areas, producing products in line with clients’ specifications and quality procedures and undertake other duties from time to time that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.

You will work closely and feedback to the Senior Management Team to share ideas, optimise results and improve operation. You will report to the Assistant Production Manager / Production Manager.

You will ideally have experience in allergen control, food safety practices, be an excellent team player and work well under pressure.

Hours of work

40 hours per week. The company operates 24/7 and you will need to be flexible in order to meet the demands of the business.

Typically from 7am until 4pm.

Pay details

£8.75 - £9.25 depending on experience

Contract information

Permanent, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays
