The Team

Our Sales & Commercial team are a small but very friendly, outgoing, rambunctious crew.

They love making deals with new customers, making the best for the future of the business and thinking up new concepts alongside NPD to sell. They work closely with customers and prospective customers to see unique market opportunities and directions to take the business in. Fiercely competitive, they have the knack of ensuring they are ahead of the competition and ensure the business we take on is the right move for the Troy family. They secure people’s jobs in the business by being the Hunter / gatherers.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Account Manager to join our enthusiastic and more than anything quirky
team at our Vegetable Processing Site. A background in fresh food, ideally vegetable is a bonus, but we are very
happy to provide all of the support needed to get up to speed in this particular category.

We do not have dedicated sales team at this site, so the role will develop over time, but for the moment you will
enjoy a variety of responsibilities including:
Day to day management of key accounts.
Working closely with all internal departments, to ensure you are fully aware of any upcoming issues or opportunities.
Developing and delivering the target sales volumes and profitability.
Being a sound and trustworthy ambassador for the business!
You will identify opportunities in the market via “best in class” customer insight, and consistently turn opportunities
into sales / results for the Troy Foods.

The Candidate
Ideally you will have had previous account management experience within the fresh/chilled food industry.
Will be a sound communicator and negotiator with an efficient and effective approach.
You will be good with numbers, demonstrate good problem solving and have the ability to think on their feet.
Will have ambition and a desire to learn and develop both personally and professionally. You will enjoy having a good
laugh at work.
