The HR team, based out of The Hub, are integral in ensuring that Troy has a highly capable management team, that are effective in managing their teams and a committed workforce who enjoy working at Troy.
The team work closely with the manufacturing sites to provide advice and guidance on all employment related matters. With a key focus on Employee Engagement and positive Employee Relations, the team are working to ensure that Troy is seen as an Employer of Choice by both current and prospective employees.
HR are heavily involved in the Corporate Social Responsibility programmes, providing opportunities for the business and its staff to engage with the local community and support the nominated charity of the year.
As a team, they have over 22 years’ experience in HR and are genuinely enthusiastic at what they do, continuously looking for ways that they can add value to the business.

Nicola joined the business in January 2019 as Head of HR to develop and lead the team through a period of change and growth.
Nicola’s background is in the food industry, where she has worked for several years as HR Business Partner gaining experience in the full HR Generalist remit, Change Management and HR Strategy.
Nicola achieved a Masters in HR Management in 2012 at Leeds Beckett University, gaining her full CIPD qualification.
Nicola’s interests lie heavily in Employee Engagement and Communications, with a passion for making every business she works in to be perceived as a great place to work; both internally and externally.
Outside of work, Nicola likes to spend time with her 2 crazy dogs, likes to socialise with friends and is a brown/black belt in Kickboxing.
Dannika joined the business in January 2016 as an HR Assistant. Prior to this she has a background in Recruitment following her graduation from University in 2013 (A criminology degree that she is yet to use!)
Since joining Troy, she has worked extremely hard to become a HR Advisor and helped to manage the HR function. She has gained the business knowledge to support the company during a period of expansion.
An associate member of the CIPD, Dannika enjoys dealing with all people matters throughout the employee life cycle. She has an interest in Employment Law and utilises her knowledge to make sound decisions on people matters.
She is direct, down to earth and loves the family culture of the business.
In her spare time, you can usually find Dannika at the gym, browsing for holidays or being a book worm!
Emma is the newest member of our HR team, joining in May 2019 as the HR Assistant specialising in recruitment. Her generalist background brings with her a wealth of experience, and in September 2019 she was promoted to the role of HR Officer, looking after the Veg site.
She loves getting to know people and is a real people person which certainly helps in HR. Although she has only been with the business a short time, she is keen to make a huge impression and excited about the new opportunity she finds herself with
Outside of work, Emma enjoys her holidays, spending time with family and friends and supporting her beloved Leeds United.
Kirsty has been with the business since April 2019 in the role of HR Assistant, specialising in Training and Development.
Her background consists of a degree from York St John in Business and HR Management, a Masters in HR Management with full Level 7 CIPD Certification as well as numerous HR internships, placements and experience as a HR Graduate.
Kirsty has a strong interest in getting the best out of the colleagues and believes that an HR strategy that makes the most out of Training and Development is the best way forward. She also has a passion for Mental Health awareness, becoming a Mental Health First Aider in July 2019, on top of being a St John Ambulance Certified First Aider.
In her spare time she tries to go to as many concerts, festival and gigs aspossible, likes to go out for food and drinks as well as binge watching crime and police documentaries and dramas.
